This is Church lane Farnham , I took this because I liked the old worldly look to it . I think it works better in b/w .

lane, street, church, b w, farnham scene

I am a 53 year old ageing Hippy with a love of nature . A romantic at heart but sadly single. I used to be a decorator but since my father became ill I have given up my business to care for him full time . When I have time to myself I like nothing more than to get out into the woods or the countryside and capture the sights around me. I hope you enjoy seeing what I see. Thanks for viewing. Kind regards Mark.

A mix of so many centuries here but no modern encumberances. Lovely shot Mark.

  • Thanks Dave, I can just imagine people from the past centuries walking along here on a Sunday going to church.

Great black and white! This does have a very ancient feel, except for the overhead TV antenna. One of those little things that can be used to decide if a painting is real or a forgery, ???? :)

  • Its hard to find a house with out one these days, perhaps I should try to remove it. Many thanks! mark.

If only the street could talk what tales it would tell, love the old chimney stacks and how everything finishes at the church, nice clean black and white with a lot of character.. Shirley

  • Many thanks Shirley, your right count less numbers of people must have walked this way to church with their sixpence in hand for the collection tray. If it wasn’t for the T,V pole this view probably hasn’t changed in a couple of hundred years. kind regards mark.
