Three young honey mushrooms . Found in my local woods. Lindford, Hampshire, uk.
Nikon D60 18-55mmVr lens, +4 mag hoya filter attached, beanbag support.

I am a 53 year old ageing Hippy with a love of nature . A romantic at heart but sadly single. I used to be a decorator but since my father became ill I have given up my business to care for him full time . When I have time to myself I like nothing more than to get out into the woods or the countryside and capture the sights around me. I hope you enjoy seeing what I see. Thanks for viewing. Kind regards Mark.

They look like the suckers on the bottom of an actopus tentacle… bizarre looking things! You find the most fascinating fungi, Mark… very intriguing!

  • That’s weird my brother said the same thing not ten minutes ago. Your right they do. My father thought they looked like slugs, my mother said ’orible looking things and wondered off. Nature does throw up some strange looking lifeforms. As always many thanks Robyn.

Interesting fungi. It would be great if you got them more mature as well.

  • On page two of my pictures there is s shot called ‘some one to look up to’ . I think they are these but older. Thanks Steve.

I’ll bet your brother didn’t say ‘actopus’ when he meant ‘octopus’… hahaha.. sorry! And your mum sounds very charming… : )

  • Glad to see I’m not the only one,I knew what you meant. Mum is a lady of few words most of them negative. She tells me its the way she is an is to old to change now.
