I watched a mini war played out on a hill side just be fore dawn . These two sheep were very unhappy about this large crow being on their hill and chased it down the hill until the crow turned on them and there was this stand off which I captured , the next shot I took was the chase continuing . The sheep managed to chase him off. Great fun to watch .
Taken at great distance Nikon D5100 70-300mm sigma lens silhouette setting, tripod .

I am a 57 year old ageing Hippy with a love of nature . A romantic at heart but sadly single. I used to be a decorator but since my father became ill I have given up my business to care for him full time . When I have time to myself I like nothing more than to get out into the woods or the countryside and capture the sights around me. I hope you enjoy seeing what I see. Thanks for viewing. Kind regards Mark.

Nature is the purest form of telling a story, words do not matter, only the visual. The silhouettes are very powerful against that terrific sky. Terrific capture, Mark:) Sandy

Looking at this, you can sense the ‘drama’ going on in the lives of the two sheep, and I know how crows and ravens love to tease other animals. Wonderful capture!

  • Thank you Kathleen , it was fun watching this drama as it played out .
