Technically – what can I say? But the biggest thing with this image is the story it tells… a very very powerful one, a horrifyingly important one to tell! Thank you for telling it :)))

Poor old broken down house…. The landscape and sky beautifully matched and perfect for Black and white! I hate seeing empty houses with all the homeless people. What a great title too!!!!

awesome, stunning image. Tells a strong but sad story. My very first thought upon seeing this photo was, “Common Sense used to live there, but was evicted” :-) It’s amazing(not in a good sense) to me that someone actually owns houses like this, yet won’t do anything to make them suitable to live in. Seems like, in this day and age, common sense can’t be found anywhere.

Marvelous tones…. the sky is an ominous reminder behind the wretched former home…. fa bulous

Great shot. So many homeless and so many empty and abandoned houses. Cruel irony.
Mary Ann Reilly replied

Beautiful shot, The house is so small and fragile. I wonder about the lives of the people that build and passed through it. Somehow it reminds me of our own aging bodies filled with memories. Both standing aged while nature continues to renew it’self and have it’s way. Thanks
