I was going to use Walt Whitman in my poem.. but decided on Nurada.. cause my heart is broken.. This is completely brilliant.. He looks like he is carved out of stone.. and you have given him a city beneath!! Like to feel this perspective.. his Soul knows no bounds!!
Mary Ann Reilly replied
I have so loved the work of Whitman for so many years. The work just seemed to flow and go together. Thanks so much for your comments:~)

Just a beautiful, beautiful image – and what a great choice of poetry. I love Ginsburg. His noir poetry is among the little in that genre at my age I can read without spiraling down into a deep depression. I just re-read HOWL for the umpteenth time, and was, as always, astonished. I love the mono or duo tine here (you can guess at my level of expertise here O_o ) the vertical lines, perfect blending. You mentioned I think that you’d been in a kind of fugue recently (know the place – am there as I write this), but you’ve clearly broken free, as testified to by your last several images. I could spend hours just looking at, and being inspired by your work Mary Ann.
Mary Ann Reilly replied
Kevin so very nice of you to say what you do here. Touched, really. It did feel good to get back to creating.

People with great technical skills don’t always produce emotional output. And vice-versa. But this, and the rest of your series have achieved both. Nice stuff.
Mary Ann Reilly replied
thanks, so nice of you to write that:)
