the ripples are natural = ) they actually annoyed me at first and i got several shots without as many but ended up liking this one better.

i am in gadsden! hello fellow alabamian!!! i lived in oxford for a few years,

This is excellent however I would have cropped it at the top to remove the clear image, then voilla a pure impressionists image.

Stunning photo, and absolutely intriguing. Just love the way you’ve cropped this/framed it, to exclude what is out of the water that is reflected in it – if that makes sense! A “Monet” in photography.

thanks for the comments =) i did crop a bit off the top but wanted to leave a little of the bank. but every time i look at it, it annoys me so i may play with it tonight and get that out of there. thanks for the comments and advice!

i agree, it has that post-impressionist quality to it. the ripples are what make this special as a straight clear reflection would be good, but not unique. well done.
