Artist's Description

The Turkey Vulture is also known as the Turkey Buzzard. They can be found in both North and South America. They glide gracefully using wings with a wingspan of 67-72 inches. They dine on dead animals. They roost in large groups. In America, they are protected under the Migratory Bird Treaty Act of 1918.
