I heard an economist talk about the need to populate or perish. I recently read the average life span of a child born today will be 90 years.

As the population ages there is a greater need for health care. With the general level of care also increasing, we need younger people to work and help provide the tax revenue to pay for the health professionals to look after us in our old age. Hmmmm….

Surely at some point, this self funding model of care for humanity must fail…. seems a bit like a Ponzi Scheme to me.
