Autumn In The City

The leaves turn to gold
slowly falling
earthbound
and perish on the pavement

The wind whispers while
the sunlight ebbs
and smears in rusty hues

Clouds fill and gather all around
Thunder bellows ” Winter is returning to the land ! “

    Descriptive haikus…
Not meant to be like them… but have the scent.
    Arouses sensations and feelings..
    Leaving the intelect just… resting.

  • reflector replied

Thanks Rosa, I haven’t studied language or poetry so I just write when inspired and structure the piece the way that feels right.

    That’s perfect…!
It is as it should be…genuinity is an added value to what we do…..though you can write beautifully following some sort of “school”....the most important thing is knowing intelligently, who do use your own resources…
    You’r wellcome!
    Have ahug!.
