Spinning A Trap

While I was searching the Garden for flowers which have recently bloomed that I haven’t photographed, I spotted this large Spider that had spun it’s web at the base of an Agapantha. The shot was captured using a Canon 450D and a Canon Standard 55 – 250 mm lens.

I enjoy the whole creative process from beginning to end and seek to discover and portray the world in all of it’s rich, intense colours and interesting forms, textures and subjects. I draw inspiration from the harmonious colour schemes often present in the natural environment when creating my Graphic Designs, or composing a Photograph or other work.

    Fantastic capture

  • Thanks a lot Mate! The unfortunate bit was I tried to move a part of the plant obscuring the Spider and the web broke, ending the session before trying much closer shots.

Oooh, I hate spiders, but this is such a great capture, reflector!!! Excellent focus and detail, and the color is so beautiful!!! :)))

  • I hate those ones too – they often stretch their webs out between the house and the nearest tree after dark and you can walk face first into the web – scary! But I was happy to photograph it in the daylight. Thanks for your great comment! :))
