Normally I would be reaching for the Insect Spray to kill this blowfly. But photography changes your responses to what would normally be regarded as a threat to good health and I jumped at the chance to photograph it before it flew away a couple of seconds after I saw it. It was a big one, but was still only about 1/3 the length of a typical Honey Bee.
Canon 450D set at f/8, ISO-400, EV = 0, 1/250 second, 60 mm in Manual Mode and hand held.
