I became interested in Digital Photography when I got my first Digital Camera in 2004. Photography has grown into a real passion over the last few years as I have learned more and my skills have progressed. Buying a digital SLR in 2009 opened up a whole new world of Photographic possibilities that has substantially increased my interest and devotion to the craft.

I like the ripples in the sand, which I presume are footprints. A beautiful beachscape, James.
Thank you Lori! It looks perfectly sunny in this shot, but it kept changing by the minute so I’ll re-visit at some stage to recover that area.

A bright and happy postcard, James! I really like the choice of typeface & little marine designx2. Assume you sampled the blue colours from the sky?
Thanks Shallay, it’s a very nice spot! I tried sampling but ended up choosing other tones of blue instead.

Superb shot. Great depth and perspective.
Rachel :)
Thank you! :)) I’d wanted to get down closer to the break-wall for some more shots but clouds came over from the west and ended the session early.

fantastic composition here Reflector…looks like such a relaxing place to relax – of course!
Thanks Solomon! I felt like using that shorter lens for a change – funny how everything at the horizon looks so tiny but the scene looks vast/expansive that way.

for sure, I really like using shorter and wider lenses for such scenery, especially with inclusion of the sky
It’s fun for a change, occasionally – these type of shots remind me of the point and click with it’s 5 mm lens.
