There’s a lady that takes her dogs to Horseshoe Beach (Newcastle, Australia) pretty often and she said that she went to a local Art Show and saw a great Portrait of her other pooch there! So she helped to settle her dog so I could more easily photograph him.

An original digital photograph of a dog called Tyson caught using a Canon 450D and a 250 Standard Canon lens set at 135 mm.

Horseshoe Beach, Australia. Summer 2010.

I enjoy the whole creative process from beginning to end and seek to discover and portray the world in all of it’s rich, intense colours and interesting forms, textures and subjects. I draw inspiration from the harmonious colour schemes often present in the natural environment when creating my Graphic Designs, or composing a Photograph or other work.

That is so sweet, James. The timing was perfect.

  • Thanks Lori! I didn’t get long to work and capture any of those dogs they were running all over the place, non stop. It’s owner held up a ball for a few seconds to help me get a shot. :)

    Great capture James! XXSUEXX

  • Thanks Sue! :))x I didn’t get more than a second or two before Tyson had moved – next time I’ll remember to move closer immediately for a different kind of portrait shot.
