A surfer performs a cutback at Dixon Park in New South Wales, Australia.

Winter 2010.

The shot was caught using a Canon 450D and text was added in Photoshop Elements 7.

I enjoy the whole creative process from beginning to end and seek to discover and portray the world in all of it’s rich, intense colours and interesting forms, textures and subjects. I draw inspiration from the harmonious colour schemes often present in the natural environment when creating my Graphic Designs, or composing a Photograph or other work.

    More fun… great picture, James.

  • Thanks for your comment and the fave Lori ! :) I was hoping that the waves were still massive [ about 15 feet ? ] but the offshore breeze had diminished their size.

your surfing work is just great James, surf has been pretty flat her most of the summer.

  • Thanks Larry ! The waves had been about 10 to 15 feet a day or two before this – I was expecting to see that, but it had dropped off. But they did have some predictable sections this day.

  • Thanks Maggie, nice to catch up with you ! They had to paddle pretty hard to get into these waves with such a strong offshore breeze. :) It was the best spot along that whole stretch of beach this day.
