Exploding Whitewater

Artist's Description

When it’s low tide, the waves roll in and end on the beach. But if there is a strong slope down to the waters edge, all that water can get sucked back out to sea as a new set of waves rolls in and when it does it sometimes collides and then explodes like the two waves in this photo.
Bar Beach, Australia in Winter 2010. Image caught with a Canon 450D as a RAW file.
