“The Glare Of The Hunter”
I went to take macro photographs of the flowers at King Edward Park (in Newcastle, Australia) and as I was walking into the garden I spotted this Magpie feeding on insects in the flower beds. I followed it around the garden from a distance, reeling off a few shots before I finally got a bit too close and it flew away. I crouched down for a low perspective for this shot, so the background was filled with colourful flowers.
This shot was taken using a Canon 450D and a 55 – 250 mm lens:
Exposure time: 1/200 sec.
ISO speed: ISO-200
Exposure bias: -0.3 step
Focal length: 250 mm [ on a 55-250 mm lens ]
