As I was photographing flotsam that was scattered along the beach, I suddenly became aware that a dog was barking at me. There seemed to be something playful about it’s bark – it didn’t set my adrenaline racing immediately. It came in closer and still growled and jumped at me but I was able to pat it’s head and give it a rub on the back and it wasn’t a threat anymore.
It was an energetic and fun-loving dog, that romped all over the beach. It’s owner stood it on his Long Board for a while and tried to push it out further into the surf but it was unsteady on the board and soon jumped off and swam back to the shore.
