A skateboarding trick where you gain enough speed to easily ride out of the top of a ramp, and start to crouch down and grab hold of your board just before exiting the coping. You then continue to hold your board firmly and physics throws you upside down above the top of the ramp. You look down at the ramp the whole time, waiting for gravity to make your board enter / touch down on the ramp again and let go of your board a fraction of a second after that. If you hold onto your board too long you will start to over-rotate and fall very hard side-ways onto the ramp [ called a " Slam " ] – been there done that ! :))
If you slam really heavily you’ll get a big Purple Bruise the size of an Orange that might grow a scab on it after a day or two – that’s called a Hipper. It makes any skater feel like they are an old man for a few days – kind of Arthritic.
