“Frequent Flyer”

The eldest of Justin Norris’ kids flies above the lip of the skate bowl at Empire Park Skate Park at Bar Beach, Australia. I hadn’t been skating for months and when I did start again, I hadn’t seen these kids and thought that maybe they had been injured and might have quit skating. Or maybe they were skating at other skate parks around Newcastle. But this day they turned up and they were just as keen about skating as they were last year. They had progressed, learned quite a few new tricks and they were doing aerials above “coping” now, too. And the most amazing thing about those achievements is that the oldest kid is only about 7 or 8 years old!!! [And the bowl is 12 or 13 feet deep in the deep end.]
