Hello to anyone and everyone on RedBubble,
I try to ensure that everyone, and I mean every last person, who ever comments on my art gets a thank you from me, without fail. You came, looked and inter-acted in this ” virtual realm ” and you invested some of your time to do that.
It makes us all feel good when someone likes our imagery / written works – we’re artists and that eventually makes us a bit of the ” show-man / show-woman ” after a few years or so. We want people to see our art, but it’s not the only motivating impetus behind us staying on this creative journey. If it is then we may need to re-evaluate our whole sense of identity and ” self ”.
I have been thinking / worrying for a few days now that maybe a lot of people thought I did not thank them because I do not use the ” Reply ” button very often. If you feel that I did not respond with gratitude when you commented, then please feel free to check back to when you have commented on my art. There should be a thanks there – every time, otherwise I just missed your comment by accident.

I know you have commented on my and for that I am very appreciative. Not only for the comment but for the time spent and the interaction as you put it. I sometimes think to that I have missed a comment…panic strikes when you see one that has been missed by about a day…thats just me so i try to make up for it. Try being a way for a week and catching up (THAT IS A GOOD THING though!!!)
Dont stress though. We all know what its like to catch up so to speak! I often re check images to see if they commented and it wasnt via the reply button. alot is left to the individual too. Some bubblers make one comment to all after about ten comments. Myself I prefer to thank people individually.

Thanks a lot Sal. I noticed that people do ” cover the field ” with a ” thank you everyone ” if they have been away from RB and are trying to play catch up. Yeah, I try to make sure to use the reply button for those occasions when you missed a comment by hours or longer.
I thank each person individually, every time, unless I missed one.
This journal entry is to let people who think I didn’t notice and didn’t appreciate their time and effort. know that every comment is valued by me.

I appreciate that not everyone has the time or maybe time frame is out for an instant thank you…....and so I don’t mind…..BUT I always thank the Poster…for giving their time to bring their artwork..pics writings whatever TO us…...it takes more time for you people to bring this to us than it does for us to see or read…so in case I have missed…...THANK YOU for taking the time to bring these delights to us…..

I also try my best to comment on every work each person posts. I get a rush when I see a comment on my work & I just want everyone to get that feeling too. But you always & without fail leave messages on my work & that in itself makes me putting them on worth wild. THANKS TO YOU.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think everyone on this page said something valid regarding the issue. I just wanted to put it down in writing, to remove all doubt in the minds of other artists ( but it will only get the point across if people read it ! ). I’m a great extremist, but moderation is a nice, sane goal regarding this whole matter.

I could start screaming ” sinner, sinner ” loud enough for you to hear me from 950 km’s away ! ( The Police may arrest me for noise pollution first, but I could still give it a try )
Or I could just confess that I did that with a few of my most loyal visitors myself and only noticed about a week ago ! I’d better check that out a bit more to see if I missed anyone that Watch-listed me, or whose Art greatly inspires me.
