There is such an incredible array of art on this site, covering all of the disciplines of art that interest me. I have been spending a couple of hours a day checking out the art that others are making, uploading my own pieces, writing, and communicating with people from all over the world who love art as much as I do.
Many of the artworks are simply amazing – so skillfully rendered and executed. Totally inspirational stuff.
So what types of art do I like to create? Everything that involves a computer in some way. I can draw, but I do not practice enough to become a skilled artisan with pencil, ink or crayons etc. I have studied Digital Multimedia at TAFE ( College ) and I enjoy making animations, taking digital photographs, manipulating images, digital illustration, creating synthetic sound effects, interactive art pieces, making digital video, and web design.

We all enjoy the feeling of someone other than ourselves, friends, or family liking our art and maybe understanding the message, theme, or “feel” of the piece. Hello from Australia, knightingail. I had a look at your gallery and I really love your artwork.

Many thanks for the Welcome Pagly2. I have actually been here for a month now, but I just added a few lines to this journal entry today so I re-published it. Poetry is in my thoughts a bit more lately. But I think that it’s not that well received, so I got away from the introspective approach on the last three poems. I am sure there should be more people in my written works – people want to read about that, not my spiritual ruminations.

Laughing ! I sent you the instructions on how to animate him about a week ago, so I thought you either did it yourself, or the concept had lost your interest ! If you send me the master file in the largest resolution of him you have I can do it. It sounds like you are challenging me to a duel, Mr Teeth !

I’ve found infinitely much more than just some site to upload work to and hopefully build a career in design, Mr Teeth ! I’ve had some amazing ” virtual discussions ” with artists all over the world ! Thanks for the toast, but coffee and a cigarette usually starts my day mate.
