Seagulls

I applied a filter and then flattened the layers. Then I adjusted the levels to give the image more contrast and stronger colours.

Seagulls belongs to the following groups:

Australian Landmarks and Icons, Landscape Photography, Safe Haven, The Urban Environment and Vibrant and Vivid Color

Definately adds a different spin on the usual picture. Like the treatment. Ace reflections~!

Thanks very much Sals ! Great to have you visiting again ! The original looks great in parts, but other areas were a bit sad. The reflections were the best part + the colour of the water ( and glossy as ! ).

Thanks Michelle good to see you are still lurking on RB ! I like the blue too !

I was so focussed on getting closer to those gulls that I didn’t notice one just taking to the air until I put the image on my computer. That was exciting – a bonus for the shot. They always go so fast they usually always get out of frame before my camera decides to capture.

Sorry, I missed you somehow ! Thanks a lot Karen ! I was standing on the mud flats to get those gulls larger in the frame / composition. I appreciate your feedback !

Thank you very much Daniela ! What an honor to have you say that – your work is just incredible, beautiful and visually / conceptually stunning.

I need to spend more time on each image, I’m getting a bit too hyper-active for my own good.

Those blues are sampled from the original photo and then used in the filter effect so they match really well. Thanks Jianina !
