i like statues and this is excellent

Ta Mate ! It really stood out when I was searching through the Grave Yard around the back of Christ Church Cathedral looking for stuff that was worth capturing. I think it is molded concrete, though it could have been carved stone.
I’m going to use it pretty soon to make a tribute artwork to a heavy metal band that I discovered last year called Trivium. Think Iron Maiden, add some serious growls, then double the speed and you’re nearly there.

Thanks a lot Maya for your kind comment !
Creativity was so easy on the day that I took this photo ( it just flowed ) and the whole concept of the photographic image went through a ” second birth ” in me.

Bringing in the sheaths… (as sung in church!)
Love the minimal detail, and that flash has narrowed the shadow. A touch of green lichen and hey presto! perfect aging – excellent.
reflector replied
Thanks again Shallay ! This is from the Grave yard at Christ Church Cathedral – Newcastle’s most famous and historic church. I got a few useful shots there and was really happy with the framing on this one.

James….Esta es una vista que me ha atraido cada vez que la he visto, por su textura y color que le has dado ,sin observarla con detenimiento es una mano real y sin embargo es piedra tallada ! l LOVE IT…..............

I’ve just uploaded my Night Light series. The Cycle of Sorrows…there’s a hand in it. But the whole series is inspired by a moon beam camera under the Texan Desert, as ethereal extremes & cosmos…spots seen from space on Earth…James Tirrel, Texas…The Big Idea.
Thankyou for your work.
