Ta Mate ! It really stood out when I was searching through the Grave Yard around the back of Christ Church Cathedral looking for stuff that was worth capturing. I think it is molded concrete, though it could have been carved stone.

I’m going to use it pretty soon to make a tribute artwork to a heavy metal band that I discovered last year called Trivium. Think Iron Maiden, add some serious growls, then double the speed and you’re nearly there.

Thanks a lot Maya for your kind comment !

Creativity was so easy on the day that I took this photo ( it just flowed ) and the whole concept of the photographic image went through a ” second birth ” in me.

Bringing in the sheaths… (as sung in church!)
Love the minimal detail, and that flash has narrowed the shadow. A touch of green lichen and hey presto! perfect aging – excellent.

Thanks again Shallay ! This is from the Grave yard at Christ Church Cathedral – Newcastle’s most famous and historic church. I got a few useful shots there and was really happy with the framing on this one.
