Last Rays 2
You don’t see colours and hues like these at any other time of the day. I probably broke a few unwritten laws of photography here, but I am not worried about that too much in this case.

Nothing beats the beauty of a sunset, no matter how many we’ve seen in our life.
I am always in awe at the beauty of our planet and so dissapointed with my fellow men who don’t have an eye for it and seem not to care much about keeping it that way.

Absolutely great image! I got carried away with my thoughts and forgot to say it.

Believe it or not iCandor, there are about three of these images taken within a couple of minutes of each other and my mind was telling me to consign them to the Re-cycle bin. But my eye told me it saw something worth keeping maybe just for the colours alone, so I obeyed. Looking at it right now, it looks like the worst storm I’ve ever seen is brewing 2 minutes over the hill from where I live.

Thanks for that MB. For anyone who reads these comments, I have a tip – visit the portfolio of MoonlightBlues, bamagirl38, and iCandor – it’s all inspiring and it’s all good.

This is simply breathtaking reflector! Those colours are so “old” or “antique”....absolutely stunning work!

Great capture,love the color.

Thanks Luis. This has been a real surprise – we all think about certain issues and theorize about how others will react and respond. These 2 images are among the most popular images in my profile at this stage, but I was tentative about including them at all.

Thanks again Babbler ! This is in the city, but seen in this light it could be Africa or anywhere exotic.

this is stunning reflector but excuse my ignorance – how could it be wrong in any form? you have captured mother nature doing what she does best and bringing it to us and warming up a very wet and dull day in France – so another reason to love it!!
reflector in reply to Pamela Jayne Smith’s comment, 13 days ago
I felt it was wrong from a Technical point of view at the time I photographed it. I thought that the Pro’s don’t shoot in the last seconds of daylight and there’s very little left to see. But still I liked it anyway – I thought it looked different.
Thanks very much for your great comment Pamela ! I have had a good reaction to this image on RB since my first days on RB. Thanks for the Fave !
