Ominous Signs For Ominous Times
This is just for dinghysailor1 to see – if you have already commented on the Original Version please don’t feel like you need to comment on this modified version. :)
As requested by Maggie, here is a special version of the original edit – minus the little planet / moon that was on the right in the other version uploaded a few days ago.

It was very quick to do – I just opened the one before flattening and took out the bit I didn’t want. But saved that process as a new file so I can upscale each version later.

Love them both James…you do this so well;)

Thanks Shanina ! This is very basic compared to the attention to detail you use to weave your images together. :-))

I really like this one! Think I saw the other one.. but this one touches all the right Edgar Allen Poe nodes in my brain. Excellent selected blurring, wonderful mystery treatment. Congratulations you two, for an excellent collaboration.
reflector replied
The only difference between this one and the other one is that I deleted the moon / planet on the right. The rest is identical. I’ve heard of Poe, but I don’t have that kind of Memory to remember what he wrote. The treatment is not mystery ! [ Laughing ] It was a great project and Maggie caught some great scenes. There’s another image that might be finished today – there will be two unique versions made of it with a common background but everything else will be changed.
shallay
Oh. Is that all you changed??? One deleted moon?? Well, doesn’t say much for my observation. Poe wrote kind of gothic horror I suppose – don’t know why I threw gothic in, maybe just horror will do. ‘The Fall of the House of Usher’ comes to mind – perfect for this kind of setting!
reflector replied
:)) Yes. It’s harder for people who didn’t make it to remember by flicking between versions. I don’t think I’d notice it. Neidpath Castle is actually supposed to be haunted by Jean Douglas, but I forgot that fact when I was mucking around with the image.
