Natures Canvas

I photographed a picture frame and then made a montage using a number of flower photo’s I have captured in the last 12 months. The editing was done in Paint Shop Pro. Each flower was cut away from it’s background using the selection tool and then placed where I wanted it in the scene, on it’s own layer. I used the Deform Tool to scale down all of the flowers, except the Frangiapani. I made sure to reduce the length and the width of the flowers in equal percentages so that their shapes were not distorted which would have degraded the image quality.

Natures Canvas belongs to the following groups:

Complex Simplicity of Art, ! 100% !, All Around the Styles, Australian Contemporary Photography, AW Welcome Center, Designers United, Dimensions, Fantasy Fine Art Composites, Graphic Editing 101, Landscape and Abstract Photography, Live, Love, Dream: , Mixed Media, Nature's Wonders, Safe Haven, Shameless Self-Promotion, The Graphic Room-Graphic and Digital Art, The Patchwork , The true beauty and Vibrant and Vivid Color Available for sale as

So pretty and creative. I have no idea how you do this, but I like it :)

  • reflector replied

Thanks very much ! If you learn to use the Selection Tool [ most if, not all photo-edit programs I’ve used have them ] you can cut images up like having digital scissors. Then copy bits to other layers and make images like this, or more complex ones.
