James this is fantastic. It is like a painting.

Thanks Gloria, if I painted I would probably choose a realist style. I’ve loved the work of Rembrandt and others since I was 10. Thanks a lot for the fave !
TomBaumker
Love the affect except for the sky over welms the great job you did Tom
reflector replied
Thanks Tom ! I tossed and turned over parts of that sky too, but it was what happened to the land below that I wanted to hold on to in the treatment. I appreciate your feedback !
Shanina Conway

reflector replied
You can go on the Payroll with a comment like that ! Chuffed ! :0
shallay
I’m a sucker for horses any time, but this photo has all the lovin’ extras – the cattle ramp and the line of mallee, and even the dried out muddy patch where someone looks to have accelerated not to get stuck. So country! – and now with texture too. Like how the horse’s backs are all around the horizon mark.
reflector replied
Thanks for your very thorough examination of this image Shallay ! It’s pretty easy to see that you have painted and drawn, from your words.
I’m glad that you faved it, and really glad that you liked the composition.
Babbler
