Strength To Stand

A very big, very solid tree that I found in a local park. I loved this bit of the trunk more than 5 feet thick. Something was eating it, but it was unshaken.

This is simply awesome, the massive abused trunk tapers up to a lush canopy.
    Well done again!

  • reflector replied

Thank you Jason, for your enthusiasm ! Much appreciated. It had some strange branches that looked like ribbons blowing in the wind, but I didn’t run them here.

Wonderful shot, good old tree. I love how you captured a bit of sunlight in the very top, almost as if its reaching up for it :) I hope the council does something about whatever is eating it.

  • reflector replied

Funny – you saw light on a branch that I didn’t even notice ! Thanks a lot Sue ! I had others too, that were a different angle and seem to look like an elephant.

Thank you Tom ! The light was fading a bit, but I had a good session with this and a few shots of the sun setting over our great Lake that afternoon.
