Patchwork Sky
A digital montage made in Photoshop using two different photographs – the clouds are one photograph, and the buildings are the other photo. I used the layer modes to change the colours of the clouds, and I extracted the sky from the street scene photo so that I could apply Filters to only the street, not the sky that was once there.

Patchwork Sky belongs to the following groups:
Complex Simplicity of Art, ***♂♥♥QUORN♥♥♀, Alternative Process Photography, AW Welcome Center, Bits and Pieces , Everyday Life, Graphic Editing 101, Happy Haven, Landscape Photography, Mixed Media, PixElations - The Art of Photoshop, Safe Haven, The Digital Interface, The Patchwork , The Urban Environment and Vibrant and Vivid ColorAvailable for sale as Cards, Matted Prints, Laminated Prints and Mounted Prints

Ta Dinghy ! I fought with this one for a while, there were lots of options because of the way I broke up these two photos and used layers. Cheers ! :D

beautiful scene- fantastic edit-love the colors
reflector in reply to Murray Swift’s comment, 2 months ago
Thanks very much Murray. That’s not achieved through the brightness / contrast controls, but through layer modes and multiple filters on the one layer.

Many thanks Cheryl ! That’s a street in the oldest section of our town ( re-developed however ), looking down to the Hunter River and Stockton Beach.
