Honeymoon Islands
Honeymoon Islands, Cradle Mountain National Park, Tasmania
Early morning at certain times of the year, the rising sun highlights Honeymoon Islands in Dove Lake and provides an arresting contrast to the toneless background of the hills beyond.
This shot was part of a greeting card set called Light, Land and Water.

you say velvia scan~ does that mean that this is shot in film?
i am fascinated with the dark room, and look forward to purchasing a film scanner
so i can share more easily my film work… plus i have a better film camera
than i do digital right now
beautiful work david
♥t
David Lade replied
Thank you for your kind words. Velvia is slide film, so was commercially processed and then scanned. I love the colour and contrast of velvia and would still prefer it for sunrise/sunset shots, but digital is so much more convenient!
