Where: Mowsbury Park, Bedford, Bedfordshire, UK
Who: Self Portrait
While in Bedford I took a wrong turn on my way home and went past a local park called Mowsbury. What caught my eye was not the goal posts but a few trees (typical me) with lovely copper leaves still on them and a snowy backdrop. By the time I had got out of the car the snow started falling really heavily. At one point I could barely see where I was going as I was snapping away at these bronze leafed trees. As I walked further toward the trees I saw the goal posts.
By the time I started to pack up a lovely gent passed by and struck up a conversation. He had five white poodles with little jackets on. I got a shot of them too. After lots of questions later it turned out that he knew someone who was a serious amateur who had just passed away and wanted to sell their medium format equipment. I left him my number and am now waiting to hear back as to find out what this equipment is. The things that happen when your out shooting.
I hope you like it.

I really love the minimalist feel to a lot of your works. always very neatly done and extraordinarily creative.
I do wonder if I spend too long out there trying to find a picture of something simple. Your comment certainly makes my efforts worth while. :-) Thank you.

This is wonderful! I love the muted tones, all the better for reading that it’s a colour shot! You sure do know how to find the beauty in a bleak day :)
Also hope to see that motion movie of your antics. I love it when you describe what you get up to on your shoots. You’re a funny chap! :)
Just posted stop motion movie of the next shot to be posted. it’s a bit boring in comparison. I’ll get round to this one in a mo. Thank you for lovely comment.

love this shot, the fantastic composition, and the very cool (and optimistic!?) background description. Uberclassy and well thought-through (while also being quite spontaneous!) Also love the idea that there are more shots out there that you haven’t posted yet, but might 8)
Just posted another scene, this will be done later today. Thinking is not my strong point but thanks for the compliment. Cheers dude.
