Where: Little Brickhill, Bedfordshire, UK
What: Trees. :-)
This is a reshoot of some trees I posted back in 2009.
I pass them every so often on the vague hope that the background, light or something changes as I love the simplicity of the scene they are in.
I had noticed after settling the camera in the snow that the 24mm lens (which had just come back from Canon UK’s repair centre) was missing the Tilt knob again. Such a weak point on that lens. The other thing I noticed was that my rear was cold and wet from squatting in the snow trying to take a handheld shot of this scene. I also now have rabbit and sheep poo embedded in my car seat. Errggh.
I hope you like it.
Canon 10D, Canon 24mm 3.5L f/3.5, 1/250 sec, ISO 250. Hand Held.
Massive amount of dust spots removed from the sensor in Lightroom. CS6 post work includes text, signature and toning.
This shot is also available from a photobook collection called Rural Mementos by redtree.me
