Where: Eaton Bray
What: Trees, roads and mist.
This was a taken a couple of weeks ago just after “the incident”. I was running around with my Polaroid 180 camera and my trusty iPhone which I also is a light meter/camera among many other things. If only the iPhone could shoot a 40mp like the new Nokia phone then I would not need another camera ever again. Running around with my Polaroid I felt I needed to double up on the shots with something digital so this is one of the results from the iPhone. Did you know there are now the mobile phone photography awards? And stock agencies are now accepting mobile phone pictures (not that I am part of any photo agency Mr Insurance man, before you go checking and try and write off my claim) OMG, things have moved on.
This line of trees heads off to a farm which have been planted perfectly equidistant from one another, they look so pretty, in any season.
The title? Nothing more than how many trees there are. Based on the trouble with the insurance company and not having yet had a resolution to my claim, which I am sure they are trying their best to get out of it I felt initially it poignant and appropriate to call it “Road to Nowhere” but thought it too melancholy. But as I wrote that I thought about the now fixed Rolleiflex, Polaroid 180 camera and iPhone so am not totally devoid of shot making, just need to get a scanner.
I hope you like it.
