Man: – Self Portrait.
Where – Clevedon, Golf Course, UK
I have been wanting to do this shot for quite some time. Though I think I need to get some more balls?
I spent ages that morning at a driving range debating whether or not to steal the golf balls I’d just hired and in the end chickened out and bought some of theirs at the shop. 50 secondhand balls seem to fetch a pretty penny according to this driving range. I think they saw me coming. I wasn’t even dressed up in my garb. :-) so I must have mug written all over my face.
I headed off to the Lynx? Links? (spelling) with my camera bag, vintage suitcase full of clothes, golf club and tripod.
It was now quite late in the evening (just so I didn’t get caught or shouted at) and I threw my newly purchased golf balls over the green, tried a few poses then packed up and fled when I saw some final die hard golfers coming. How on earth can they see what their doing?
I think they thought they’d seen a ghost when I ran passed them shouting good evening gentlemen. I hadn’t changed out of my kit so I must have looked a sight.
I hope you like it.
