Where: Ashridge Estate in Bedfordshire
Person: My Daughter Phoenix (Walking with purpose)
Sometimes you just get these little gifts in life. Yesterday was one of those.
I’m not sure I should mention why there’s a lot of mist in this shot or not, suffice to say the forest is still standing and no trees were harmed in the making of this shot!
We popped out for a walk/photo opportunity in Ashridge, Bedfordshire, UK to hopefully catch some Autumn colours. The tree’s were turning but not really enough for a colourful scene. The place was packed with people and it was difficult to get a shot without someone remarking, “wow that’s a big camera” or “do you do photography for a living?” or “what are you doing, can you see smoke?”
My daughter also looks a little like big foot stomping off behind the tree. I did say to her try to walk with style. Well, she is only 4 after all.
I hope you like it.
Canon 5D MkII, 24mm TSE at 24mm, f/11, 1/100 sec, ISO 100. No filters used. Cropped from it’s original landscape format, which I may add at a later date.
