I had prepared the night before, charged batteries, emptied memory cards, got my clothes ready and set my alarm clock for 4am.
What I hand’t countered on was a little mouse who had decided to make a nice home in our house that morning. It took 40 minutes of emptying the entire contents of an under stairs cupboard to find it. Sadly the mouse did not survive the swift justice with the broom and is now in mouse heaven.
This shot was taken in the Woburn Estate at around 6am after a full nights light snow fall.
I now no longer have a 4×4 wagon so getting there was slightly interesting, luckily I had prepared myself with a broom and spade to get myself out any tricky situations. The only one I didn’t expect was to be asked to move my car from my preferred position to over two miles off the estate by a very nice but firm estate manager.
I returned eventually to take this and many other variations of scenes.
I hope you like it.
