While out with our daughter in our favourite forest, she dropped her bear – ‘Mr Thomas’ – in a muddy puddle. Distraught and crying, I promised to clean him up. A rude awakening befell Mr Thomas when he was dunked into basin to be washed then left out on the table to dry, while she played in the background. Mr Thomas was lost in thought and hoped that he could go home and sit by the fire to warm up. I’m not sure he like me taking the shot of him. I hope you like it.

Canon 5D, 24-70mm at 38mm, f/5.6, 1/400 sec, ISO 250. Straight from Lightroom 3.

This shot is also available from a photobook collection called Rural Mementos by redtree.me

Awwww…… poor Mr Thomas…. He looks nice and clean though… I can see a glint in his eye, I think he would like to sit next to the fire too, but not TOO close!! He wouldn’t want to get wet again! :)) Veddy veddy cute D! :))))
