This is maybe not the best composed, well lit or best captured shot of my daughter shot I’ve ever taken in The Secret Woods, Bedfordshire, UK. But it serves as a word of warning to remind me that children shouldn’t eat Bluebells especially on their 1st birthday. Although we were not there for long and she didn’t look as though she’d eaten any as I had my eye on her the whole time, I happened to notice a bit of blue in her mouth. Only then did it dawn on me, are Bluebells edible. Oh Crap. A quick call to NHS direct later, Oh Crap, lets go to the hospital. We happened to choose the busiest hospital in the UK and sat there for 6 hours as understandably we were a low priority. Our baby loved it as there were lots of other poorly children there for her to play with. At the 6th hour mark as we were about to leave the doc came out said she was fine, without even looking at her, just go home a keep an eye on her. That was one sleepless night. Though she was totally oblivious to the whole thing. I hope you like it, it gives me the shivers every time I see it.
Canon 5D, 70-200mm at 120mm, f/2.8, 1/200 sec, ISO 400. No filters used and hand held. Luminosity mask applied.
