Help

Slight problem. I was taking shots of London this morning only to find that most of the shots were fogged. I checked the camera, lenses, filters etc but to no avail. The light was amazing but going quickly and I could’t figure out why it was doing it. / Could it be the eye piece? / If it is what is the best way to cover it? Black tape or some proper gadget?
