Something Sweet To Eat - Jerusalem by

Oh my! This is Halvah (Arabic), meaning “sweet” – freshly made from tahini (sesame paste) filled with various nuts, beans, and vegetables, such as carrots, pumpkins, yams, and squashes. It looks like there’s chocolate in there somewhere. These treats are way too sweet for me, but they are very popular, no doubt, judging the size of these portions.
