Full-time (10 Month contract)
The State Library of Victoria is the state’s premier reference and research library, the hub of a state-wide information and communications network, and a gateway to the world’s information.This position is situated within the Imaging Studio.The primary function of this position is to fill curatorial imaging requirements including exhibitions and co publications. The incumbent may be required to undertake events and PR photographyThe successful applicant will possess a experience in the handling and photography of heritage collections material and also a sound knowledge of and experience in the following:
Phase One digital image capture software
Mamiya RZ67medium format and Canon 1DS camera equipment
Epson wide format printing equipment
Colour management theory and principles.
