Artist's Description

Start with The Song of Ilium

pencil and ink drawing on 9″×11″ sketchbook paper inspired by the movie
Helen of Troy
Helen was played by
Rossana Podestà

Of course in the 50’s all Greeks were blondes but I thought Rossana was much prettier as a brunette.

She looks a little like Bridgette Bardot in this photo which is interesting because a young Bardot played a small part in Helen of Troy.
