Very nice painting well done
Thanks. I was trying to do something fast and loose without too much thought. Some of the older movie stars had unearthly beauty.
Fabulous portrait hon:) xoxox
Beautiful, work, Red !!The likeness is amazing !
Superb. Great use of warm color and very alluring portrait! :)
I worked w/ Sylvia Sydney years ago in a movie called “Raid On Entebbe”( I was an extra along w/my parents & played an Israeli Hostage) She was getting older but still performed like a true Pro. Also, she had two little pug dogs that she took on location w/her that I was fascinated with. Lovely painting & tribute to her.
This is my favorite thing about RedBubble…the fascinating back and forth conversations that happen. Thank you so very much for responding. Most people only remember the older Sylvia Sidney. They have no idea what an alluring natural beauty she was.
Sylvia Sidney was one of the most gorgeous women in Hollywood and probably one of the longest careers in showbusiness from 1927 in “Broadway Nights” to “Beetlejuice” in 1988 and “Mars Attacks” in 1996. My favourite movie with her is “Fury” ( 1936 ) with Spencer Tracy and directed by Fritz Lang.
This looks like another self portrait to me! Love it.
How fantastic this looks on that shirt…beautiful piece..
