I was talking to Pat Lucas about cards and she inspired me to make a card. Its a pen and ink drawing that I collaged ( can I verb that word?) with tissue paper that Dollar General wraps thing like saucers and cups in to protect them. Depending on what the clerk grabs to wrap your fragile item in, you can get anything from exotic far eastern designs, to plaids, to baseball prints. But I just cant stand to throw the tissue paper away. Anyway, I went from the word Calcutta to the cloth calico to of course the cat calico.

You’ve got a beautiful little cat here.
My mom used to make them, out of cloth, and stuff them. Nice back leg- guess 2 wouldn’t have worked out? I had a 3-legged cat. When she finally caught a mouse, she came and woke me up to show me that 3 legs were just as good as 4!
