Cold Kirby is a little village near Helmsley, North Yorkshire, England, UK. It has a traditional village green with red telephone box.
This image was created by firstly transforming the colour image into a black and white image. I then layered the black and white image over the colour image and used the erase function to remove the black and white layer over the telephone box to reveal the original red colouring. Finally, the two layers were merged. All work was carried out in Serif PhotoPlus X4.

Beautiful capture! Great SC and info I have been doing it a different way (prob the lazy way!!) in photoshop will try the layering technique to see if I get better results! Many congratulations on your first sale!!! An instant fave!
