I know how that feels. i leased my Natara out when i had to go to college.
have someone sponsor him. that way you can go see how he doing.
i did that the second year. i felt better. sponsering is better. than leasing him. you can check on him and what place he staying at.

whats sponsring? how does that work?

what sponsoring is you keep the horse were she stays but they pay for the boarding. and to ride her. it like leasing but instead of them taking her to what ever place they chose you keep her at the place you chose… that way you can keep an eye on her and if it does work out you can stop it. were a lease it hard esp that there a signed formed… I did this for both of my horses. when i went to wyoming. another words you chose the place you keep the horse but they pay for the boarding and any other fees like vet and shoeing… Nancy

Hi Tiffany
We lease out our other horse Russell but we got the lady that leased him to sign an affidavit and in it we put on the condition that we could check on him after the first month then every 3 months after that, the lady was fine with it and Russell is doing so well and very happy where he is.
I hope this helps
I can bubble mail you the draft to give you an idea if you like.

Could you do that please?? that would be wonderful. i guess my biggest concerns are the fact of liability and that Fulgar gets taken care of very well and that i can still enjoy him as my horse too.

We leased out Flashy and Angel on a two year lease during some hard times. That is how we got Jack and Scotch. They gave us free breeding to their stud. It was wonderful because for 2 years they took care of all the feed and vet bills and we got to keep our beloved horses instead of having to sale them. Sorry I missed this. I had you on my watchlist and didn’t notice somehow you were one of the people I lost off my watchlist due to a RB glitch.
