After following a fall stream up the mountain I suddenly came across a small waterfall.

A waterfall in the desert!

Wadi Boqeq is part of the Judean Desert Nature Reserve and it overlooks the Dead Sea.

There is a small stream there there flows all year round becuase it’s souce comes from an underground spring.

The water there is neither hot nor cold, and if you sit next to one of the small waterfalls, you can also get a nice back massage.

The water is clean and tasty and can be safely drunk and the area is green an populated by numerous wild animals, birds and insects.
