Mt. Tabor - the Transfiguration of Christ by

Mount Tabor is near to Nazarteth and is mentioned many times in the Bible.

On the day that I visited there was a lot of very fine dust in the air which accounts for the image becoming less and less clear as we look further and further away.

Nevertheless it is realistic and would have often appeared this way during the times of Jesus.

Mount Tabor is believed by many to be the site of the Transfiguration of Christ and site for the battle between Barak and the army of Jabin commanded by Sisera.

This is a revised version of http://www.redbubble.com/people/redmike/art/103...

One of the messages that I received was ..

Eyal Nahmias
“This is a great view. Consider a slight levels adjustment to bring dorth more contrast and correct the slight under exposure.and color and crop some of the sky for a better composition. Thanks for sharing with the Art of the Middle East group”.

I couldn’t find the original and thought that it had somehow got deleted, but I found it and several others after doing some needed tidying up of my various backups etc.

Please let me know what you think of this version as compared to the original one.

Thank you.

Michael
