This work was inspired by my dear grandmother who passed away in 1990. She was my mentor in all things when I was growing up. Her love of birds and gardening are two of many things that influences me in my art works and in my writing.

    Excellent work, Sharon ! Love very much this combination of colors, green and blue ( unusual in your works ). Very good the accents of warm colors, yellow and red. Love this work !

    I love seeing hummingbirds. I found one lying on the ground one time. It seemed to be stunned. I couldn’t see any injuries. I checked it out all over and he sat in my hand for a few minutes, then flew away. It was something I’ll never forget. Thanks Jeffee. :)
